We are pleased to report today’s climb was a success! We are not 100% sure this will resolve the issue but remain hopeful! The climbers were able to remove the old cross band coupler, UHF antenna, several jumpers and replace the jumper from the main feed line to the antenna. This now gives us a new baseline as far as the equipment. During this visit, I was able to finish the duplexer install and tidy the installation. After some adjustments to the receiver’s squelch, a few tests from local and distant hams we wrapped things up and headed for heat!
