 A welcoming amateur radio gathering designed for YLs and open to everyone. Share stories, make new friends, and enjoy great conversation. While created to encourage Young Ladies in amateur radio, everyone is welcome to join the conversation. You will find a warm and supportive atmosphere focused on the enjoyment of our hobby.

An hour with elmers

Whether you’re a newly licensed ham or a seasoned operator, the Elmer Net is a place to learn, share, and explore the many facets of amateur radio. Join us each Wednesday evening as we discuss antennas, digital modes, SDR, emergency communications, portable operating, station building, and much more. Newly licensed operators are especially encouraged to participate.

Tasty Tuesday

Join fellow amateur radio operators every Tuesday evening on the MRC91 repeater for an hour of food, fellowship, and fun. From grilling and camping meals to family recipes, cooking tips, restaurant recommendations, and holiday favorites, Tasty Tuesday is where hams come together to share their love of good food and great conversation.


Planes, Trains & Automobiles

Love aviation, railroads, classic cars, road trips, or transportation history? Join fellow amateur radio operators on the MRC91 repeater for discussions about the machines, technology, and adventures that keep the world moving. From aircraft and locomotives to vintage automobiles and everything in between, there’s always an interesting conversation waiting.

Other nets of INTEREST

Step back in time and explore over a century of radio history. This unique net combines fascinating discussions about amateur radio and broadcast radio with fun and challenging trivia questions. Thursdays at 8:00 PM 

Held every Friday night at Midnight on the MRC91 repeater, this self-hosted social net is designed for the night owls, late-shift workers, insomniacs, and anyone who enjoys good conversation after hours.

Whether you’ve explored Wisconsin’s state parks, attended a hometown festival, visited a historic landmark, discovered a great restaurant, enjoyed a scenic road trip, or simply have a favorite Wisconsin memory to share, this is the place to talk about it. Saturdays at 8:00 PM
