System Status

The Milwaukee Repeater Club’s MRC91 repeater system continues to operate normally and remains fully available for member and public amateur radio use. Routine monitoring and maintenance indicate that the system is performing as expected and continues to provide reliable coverage throughout southeastern Wisconsin.

The club’s repeater infrastructure remains an important resource for weekly nets, public service events, severe weather operations, emergency communications, and everyday amateur radio activity.

Planned Upgrades

As part of the Milwaukee Repeater Club’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving our repeater systems, several enhancements are currently planned for completion before the fall season.

• Upgrade of the repeater antenna system
• Feedline upgrades to improve reliability and overall system performance
• Addition of a new UHF repeater to expand operating opportunities for club members
• Continued evaluation of system infrastructure and future growth opportunities

These improvements are intended to enhance system coverage, increase long-term reliability, and support future expansion of Milwaukee Repeater Club communications capabilities.

Supporting the Amateur Radio Community

The MRC91 system continues to serve as a vital communications resource for club activities and the amateur radio community throughout southeastern Wisconsin. From educational nets and technical discussions to public service and emergency communications, the repeater remains an important part of the club’s mission.
